I love this place ! They have a small guide for new coffee drinkers or people who are just túnel visioned on one style, the guy who took care of me was also awesome and took his time explaining me "the art of coffee" as he called it.

Cute little drive through coffee hut in Plainview. The young man that helped me was very nice and went out of his way to help me. He made recommendations based on what I like and I loved my iced latte.
The only reason this place did not get 5 stars is that they can not give you an itemized receipt. I was in Plainview on business and was using my company card. I have to be able to get a receipt showing what I bought. It was very frustrating!
This place would get 10 stars if they were actually Star Wars themed! -

I just recently moved to Texas from Maryland. I know right? Huge change! I had an appt in Plainview and I was looking for coffee for afterwards. I asked the woman at my appt where would she go between Java the Hut and Broadway Brew. She suggested I come to Java the Hut because you get a good cup of coffee for a great price.
Y'all, she was RIGHT! I paid 4.49 (only because I got two shots of espresso for $1.50) Anyways, the woman there was very nice. Chatted with my children and even suggested my 2 year old have some fun ringing the bell that lets them know you're there! -

It's simple... you are in Plainview and you don't want gas station coffee. Don't go to your normal default of McDonalds for a good cup of Joe to go. Drive thru at Java the Hut and let your taste buds be happy. The ladies will give you a friendly smile as well.

This place is surprisingly good. I was skeptical at first due to the location but looks can be deceiving so don't judge a book by its cover. This place brews some seriously good coffee. I'm in town for a couple of days for work and needed something better than hotel coffee. Java the Hut certainly fixed me up there. I'll definitely come back for more before I head out tomorrow.
